Miracle's Story
Just when Miracle thought she was safe, the unexpected happened.
While in her foster home, Miracle suffered a freak accident that caused a severe hernia. The injury was so serious that her intestines slipped through a tear into the tissue beneath her skin and down her leg, creating a life-threatening emergency.
Despite everything she was going through, Miracle remained incredibly brave.
She was rushed to South Asheville Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (S.A.V.E.S.), where she underwent emergency hernia repair surgery. The procedure was delicate, and her recovery will require careful monitoring to ensure she heals properly without complications.
We're incredibly grateful to share that Miracle made it through surgery successfully. ❤️
Now begins the next chapter of her journey—healing.
